Amachi’s Hope

On the night of the Harvest Moon, AMACHI YENYO INOTU is brought forth to this realm by an Orisa (deity) who prophesies that she will be the catalyst of change, a herald of hope and a unifier for her people.  She will be called the Goddess of Light.  After her mother’s death, Amachi discovers at a young age the unique blessing bestowed upon her.  As a seer, she will venture down the path destined for her. As an immortal, she will witness the lives and deaths of her people.

Amachi’s presence in the world ignites special abilities within her kin. Unfortunately, these gifts have left generations open to danger from Orisa that sees them as a threat.  As a goddess, Amachi is not allowed to help humankind.  The consequences should she ignore this decree is dire.  But her stubbornness and her inability to watch her people suffer have forced her to take matters into her own hands.  In this story, you will meet Amachi’s descendants, discover their gifts, and experience the trials and tribulations that await them.
